MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATION
True to the vision of St. Mary’s Episcopal School, our middle school students learn to be effective leaders as we continue our focus on doing God’s work through service to others. Our middle division hosts departments with veteran teachers who are specialized in their subject areas, allowing St. Mary’s students to experience the passion and excitement of each subject.
Some of the academic opportunities for middle school students include:
- Specialized mathematics program with a focus on advanced mathematics
- Specialized Language Arts program with a focus on literature analysis, writing, poetry, grammar, reading, and vocabulary
- Specialized science program with a focus on inquiry-based instruction and learning

- Specialized world geography and history program through Core Knowledge®
- Our students also have rich opportunities through enrichment programs such as:
- Chapel and Religious Education
- Drama with a focus on performance and mythology (after-school drama program also offered)
- Fencing; Kayaking; Archery
